This area is located between Country Club Mall and Rutherford Road (E/W) and between Long Lake and Boban Industrial Area (N/S). This is a very convenient area to live being central to everything. There are two fish stocked lakes in the fecinity. Diver Lake is found on the left side of Island Hwy driving north, its a weedy lake but does have a nice wooden walkway, playground and an area with bike jumps. Long Lake is short distance north on the right, you’ll find the popular local swimming area, rowing, kayacking, a canoeing club, and trails all over. This area is noted for its serene and well-established residential neighbourhoods.
Although steeped in tradition, newer subdivisions are also springing up. Some of the old rural properties are still evident here and an old school remains as a point of pride for locals who are keen on the area’s history. Most of the homes, however, are ranchers and split-levels from latter third of the twentieth century.
